Professional Learning Solutions

Our comprehensive professional learning solutions are designed to help teachers and administrators integrate the Time To Know digital teaching platform into daily activities to maximize student achievement.

Our expert instructional coaches show teachers how to improve their effectiveness and student performance. They guide teachers through a scaffolded sequence of steps—including initial implementation, best practices, skill development, and participation in a professional learning community—and build capacity as teachers and administrators become increasingly skilled at integrating technology into daily teaching and learning.

The Time To Know four-phase professional learning program is based on the Blooms Taxonomy research on effective learning and the powerful strategies outlined by Bruce Joyce and Beverly Showers.

In the same way that Time To Know students work through guided social constructivist practices, teachers and administrators learn theory, observe demonstrations, practice learning, and receive feedback and coaching in a program of continuous support:

  • Phase 1, Implementation Preparation. Assess unique needs and develop an implementation plan.
  • Phase 2, Implementation Foundations. Understand the Time To Know content, technology, and constructivist pedagogy in preparation for integrating Time To Know into daily activities.
  • Phase 3, Implementation Integration. Develop strategies for individualizing instruction, build collaborative learning skills, and learn how to monitor progress in real time.
  • Phase 4, Implementation Evaluation and Adjustment. Establish reflective teaching practices to ensure that teachers can apply course corrections, with support from instructional coaches and the broader professional learning community.
